Haven's Founder
Roger Dwan founded Haven having worked in HR and Consultancy for over 20 years working with different sized Organisations in most sectors. Having studied Politics, Economics and Philosophy he gained professional qualifications in HRM, Conflict Intervention, Facilitation, Mediation, Coaching and Training. As well as that he has quite a bit of life experience! He leads by example challenging himself to develop further and learn through courses, workshops, podcasts, videos, books and articles, and generally researching the latest thinking in leadership and the world of work. He knows the importance of work and the need for a new approach. Haven is building a network of partners, clients, colleagues and supporters and we would love if you came on the journey with us. Our Approach
The world in general and the work we do in particular is being disrupted and this flux is going to continue for the foreseeable future. Work can be challenging, but it can also be deeply fulfilling. The challenges we encounter can make us feel stuck but it also offers us an opportunity to develop our leadership to do what’s needed.
Haven was founded to provide a space for people to explore their work, what they are called to do in their career and how they can use challenges as opportunities, for instance during period of transition and change, or when there is tension or conflict. We want to help people who have potential but who feel stuck in some way. The world needs leaders and its not just leaders with titles, we are all called to step up. Having an intention to focus on a challenge in your work can be the first step.
Our Expertise
We use a combination of consulting, coaching, facilitation, training and mentoring to guide people through complex situations so that they can develop themselves and the people around them. We work with people who want to demonstrate leadership in their role regardless of their formal position and level of seniority. We typically work with people for 3, 6 or 12 months and then provide ongoing support.
